Grancrest Senki hmm... This feels a lot like Arslan Senki and Shoukoku no Altair. It just... you know... has magic.
Really? I was getting a Granblue Fantasy vibe myself. That or like... Magi: The Labrynth of Magic. I mean they use magic in a semi-midieval setting and travel around.
The director is Mamoru Hatakeyama who is Shinichi Omata. He did Arakawa Under the Bridge, Phi-Brain Puzzle of God, and more. He is often working as an episode director and works on a lot of OVAs.
He hasn"t directed many TV anime all the way through, so this should be interesting!
