What You Need to Know:
- Together with Nihon Television, Yasushi Akimoto has annnounced that they are making an original anime called "Kimi Dake ni Motetainda"(I Only Want to Be Attracive to You). This summer, there will be a television show broadcast to show off the auditions for all of the male seiyuu roles and other roles on the series.
- Open auditons are being held now for the TV show allowing any male actors over the age of 11 to apply. You don"t need experience and the only other rule is that you do not. The goal will be to have the audition show in summer, and then make the anime some time after that.
- Akimoto is also producing another anime called 22/7 which is a cross dimension idol project using 3DCG girls in the music videos, but actual girls in real life. No more information has come out though about what the status of this anime is. Hopefully more will be coming out about both soon!
So wait... 22/7 is basically confirmed and then now this? Why not focus on quality over quantity.
Yeah... I want a good quality anime, not a rush job.
