Hey everyone I’m Aaron Curbelo or Blade as I’m called by my YouTube Subscribers. I’ve been an anime/manga fan since I was a young kid. In terms of anime I have watched nearly a thousand shows and have read hundreds of manga series. I love writing and honestly was so happy to join Honey’s Anime to get a shot to write articles for such a wonderful site. I’m a firm believer in respect in the anime community being the most important embodiment we should all have. Hey friends! I reside in Georgia and use my degree in Japanese primarily to (barely) read doujinshi that hasn’t been translated. Gintama 2 Live Action Movie Drops Teaser Trailer




What You Need to Know:


  • Last week, we brought the news that the second Gintama live-action movie, titled "Gintama 2" was due out this summer. The announcement also brought information that the same main three actors for Gintama, Shinpachi, and Kagura will return.

  • Today a teaser trailer has been released. It"s not even twenty seconds long, but it does have very small clips–from what we assume is the second movie–if you pay very close attention.

  • Yuuichi Fukuda is back as the director and Hideaki Sorachi will be working on the script again. No further information has come out yet, but stay tuned for more as a new trailer should be released soon.

This is for the 50th Anniversary of the series. I can"t believe it has been going for so long! Junk Dog already feels like a Spike or Mugen. We may have a favorite new luck-pusher.

The steampunk elements are definitely helping the story evolve. Boxing anime are rare, so I think that we have a good work on our hands.

Noragami Manga To Resume Publication!




What You Need to Know:


  • In a surprise announcement from Kadokawa today, Adachitoka"s manga Noragami will resume monthly publication starting in the July edition of Monthly Shounen Magazine due out June 6th.

  • A second announcement followed that the 19th bound volume will go on sale on August 17th this year. The manga has been on hiatus since May of 2017 due to Adachitoka"s ailing health. The author took a year off to recover and it seems to have paid off.

  • Noragami has received two anime seasons which have been well-recevied by the anime community. Maybe that means we could be looking at another anime season now that the manga is back!
