NieR Automata: PlatinumGames" combat never faulters in this game. Not to mention a blend of Action Rpg, twin stick shooting, side scrolling, beat em up, shoot em up and geometry wars.

Persona 5: It has a neat blend of social simulation and turn based combat. Not to mention an elegant fusion system and a very amazing battle system.

NieR: Automata: NieR. A work of art and a masterpiece. Arguably one of the best stories ever told and it is told heavily within gameplay. A meaningless war and tale given full meaning with amazing characters, music and gameplay. One of the most immersive games ever and game that wont soon be forgotten. Each playthrough (yes each playthrough is very different from the last) is memorable. A story that completely turns the table and destroys common tropes and is incredibly unforgettable and tragic.

Persona 5: A story that explores dark real world themes (Abusive teacher, suicide, depression, black mail and corruption) and dark awakenings. Another amazing story with amazing characters.

More importantly is how this game combines the 2 elements above so well is another reason this game is amazing. After all this game revived turn based rpgs.
