I smell something that is about Chuunibyou! This looks like it"s going to be really really funny.

honeys anime character

The main character is super OP, but just happens to have terrible social skills and enjoys eating and being alone. haha

honeys anime character

Yea but at the same time, there is going to be plenty of action as well. I wonder how they are going to balance it out. Either way, if you are a fan of Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan or Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!, this is most likely going to be up your alley.

I am torn between this and Hinamatsuri as to what anime is going to make me laugh the most in Spring 2018. I guess I will just have to watch them both!

I was thinking Centaur no Nayami maybe. I hope though that the idol aspect is well-received as well. We could end up with something like a supernatural Love Live!.

Now that is something that I am here for. A lot of the seiyuu aren"t too big in the industry, so maybe this could be their lucky break.

Ridiculous Comedy Anime Winter 2018 Like Nichijou Watch This

Some people are under the impression that anime is just a bunch of stupid cartoons without meaning. Well, they are wrong!! Only some of them are like that. And we"re going to give you some sweet, goofy shows where you can basically tune into any episode and know as much as the next person what"s going on. However, even with comedies with no real plot or even seemingly connected scenes, it certainly doesn"t mean they"re lazy with the jokes. While a common set up is the straight man/funny man duo, sometimes all the characters involved bring completely insane ideas that, in new ways, add to an already funny scenario.

About Nichijou (Nichijou – My Ordinary Life)

  • Episodes: 26

  • Aired: Apr 2011 - Sep 2011

If we had to describe Nichijou in just a few short words, it"s like a super moe Regular Show. ("It"s anything but"). The title MEANS "everyday life" but while the general settings of a school and house are rather normal, the characters themselves and the situations they get into are absurd. The only way this can be seen as normal is that everyone is uniquely quirky. There"s a haughty farm boy who speaks like a nobleman but rides a goat to school, a robot whose body parts hide secret snacks even she doesn"t know about, and a high school girl who secretly fantasizes about her crush with other dudes. With incredible feats of strength and a convenient negligence to the laws of physics, Nichijou excels at taking supposedly ordinary moments and turning them into ridiculous and hilarious situations.

The beauty of crazy comedies is that they aren’t bound by logic or universal laws, so there"s always something new. These aren’t the kind of shows you tend to empathize with or see yourself in. These shows provide a comical escape that"s easy for people to enjoy and doesn"t require much brain power. The happy though zany days of Nichijou can appeal to many because of their cuteness and funniness. Poptepipikku has the spontaneity and memey-freshness to keep pop-culture fans happy and engaged. Saiki Kusuo is a more cynical, while still overly ridiculous, show that is great for viewers that might be tired of their own everyday hardships. We hope you enjoy these shows as much as you loved Nichijou!

Sweet & Funny Anime Winter 2018 Like Gabriel DropOut?

Mark Sammut

Balancing school and a social life can be rather challenging, especially when the students are not quite human. Gabriel DropOut follows the adventures of a group of angelic and demonic teenagers who are tasked with carrying out their studies on Earth. Doga Kobo"s shounen series subverts stereotypes associated with Heaven and Hell while delivering some hilarious school-based comedy hijinks. With a heavy focus on the relationships between the colorful characters, Gabriel DropOut examines how someone"s upbringing might impact the way they interact with the world, especially when they are forced to go out of their comfort zone. Bringing together a fantastic cast made up of polar opposites, this 2017 anime is sweet and funny.

Our two featured anime in this article are Miira no Kaikata and Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san. Both ongoing series are set in or around a school and follow a group of friends who, on paper, should hate each other. While their premise might not be all that similar to Gabriel DropOut, these anime are perfect for fans of Doga Kobo"s comedy and we plan on backing up that claim. Time to have a good laugh and an occasional cry with three anime that put the fun back in education.

About Gabriel DropOut

  • Episodes: 12

  • Aired: Jan 9, 2017 – Mar 27, 2017

Based on Ukami"s manga of the same name, Gabriel DropOut follows the day-to-day life of Gabriel White Tenma, an angel who graduated at the top of her class. As a final assignment prior to earning her full wings, Tenma is dropped on Earth and joins a normal human school. In a matter of months, Gabriel transforms from a beacon of righteousness to a hikikomori addicted to video games. Despite the efforts of Vignette, Gabriel"s responsible best friend who happens to be a demon, the angel is determined to live a life devoted to Earth"s pleasures. Along the way, Gabriel meets Satanichia McDowell Kurumizawa, a harmless demon who dreams of taking over the Underworld, and the terrifying angel Raphiel Ainsworth Siraha. As these unlikely friends try to make it through high school in one piece, fans are treated to a hilarious fish-out-of-water storyline boasting an unpredictably humorous central cast.

Gabriel DropOut, Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san, and Miira no Kaikata offer a perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon. Boasting great animation for the genre and lovable characters, these anime might flirt with the supernatural but they always prioritize their slice-of-life elements above anything else. Bringing together teenagers from different walks of life, Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san and Miira no Kaikata show that friendship comes in all shapes and sizes. We hope you enjoyed reading this article and please let us know if you’ve seen either one of these series. Don’t forget to check Honey’s Anime for more articles offering great recommendations.

Cute Adventure Anime Winter 2018 Like Yama no Susume?

“Not all those who wander are lost” – J. R. R. Tolkien

There’s a tremendous mysterious quality about the vast outdoors that sparks amazement, intrigue, and excitement for both the novice and near-expert open-air enthusiast. Our planet is a massive place with much to see and little time to do it all. Some of us may have the funds to explore new areas, and some can only observe through the eyes of others. Whatever the case may be, looking into the world’s magnificent landmarks can be fulfilled merely by any adventure anime of our choosing. However, with so many in circulation, where should we start?! Well, look no further because we’ve got some of the best cute adventure anime to explore! In the following titles, we share with you some exciting recommendations, solely to give you a sampling of current flavors based on popular previously aired anime. Hopefully, by the end of this article, you’ll give every one of these a shot! Now, lets gear up and go!

About Yama no Susume (Encouragement of Climb)

  • Episodes: 12

  • Aired: January 2013 – March 2013

Aoi Yukimura hears the call of the mountains! As a child, Aoi admired the beauty of nature and was extremely passionate about climbing. However, an accident at the playground resulted in a tremendous fear of heights. When Aoi fell off a high structure, it left her afraid and discouraged her from taking any big risks with outdoor recreation. More and more, Aoi grew comfortable posting up in her room with such hobbies as crafting and arts. She enjoys her solitude, but ultimately, it puts a damper on her social skills. One day at school, Aoi bumps into an old hiking buddy, Hinata Kuraue, who fortunately, is changing her mind about her once forgotten pastime. A complete opposite personality from Aoi, Hinata is getting her hyped for climbing again with her reluctance slowly fading into the background. Aoi recalls those feel-good memories she had as a kid. As such, Aoi and Hinata’s love for climbing unfolds before us, as viewers get to see what this sport is indeed about.

As we part ways, it’s important to remember that the most remarkable thing about cute adventure anime is that they are so entertaining, imaginative, adventurous, and exciting. Moreover, it is essential that we take the time to admire what’s outside of our rooms, devices, and work. The outdoors is beautiful and we often forget to slow down! We highly recommend you take a big gulp of fresh air and watch Yuru Camp and Sora yori mo Tooi Basho! These series are unique for the Winter 2018 season. So, let us know if you agree or disagree. Feel free to leave your suggestions and comments below! Thanks, and enjoy!

LIDENFILMS x Dwango

Netflix is getting more aggressive. They have been making more and more anime. This one is different in that you won"t be able to binge it at first. You will have to watch the episodes week by week. I wonder what they are plotting.

honeys anime character

YEAH. It"s total nonsense that I cannot binge watch the anime and have to wait week to week for episodes. It"s NETFLIX. Not a broadcasting company!

honeys anime character

It"s probably becuase the show is also airing on TV in Japan as well. If you unleash it all at once, then no on would watch the TV broadcast.. But forgotten songs that have magical powers? Sounds like the Mecha in RahXephon or like Index from To Aru Majutsu no Index. I smell plot twists.

honeys anime character

Yeah. This is going to be a unique anime for sure. Plus, big anisong singers like Yukari Tamura and Konomi Suzuki are in it and performing the opening and ending.
